Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh for DOS takes the horror adventure style of the first game in a very different direction, moving away from the haunted mansion atmosphere and into a darker psychological and corporate mystery. Instead of following Adrienne, the game focuses on Curtis Craig, a troubled office worker whose life begins to spiral as strange events, disturbing memories, and unsettling incidents around his workplace start to reveal something much bigger behind the scenes. Like the first Phantasmagoria, it uses full-motion video heavily, giving it that unmistakable 90s interactive movie feel, but the tone is more surreal, uncomfortable, and experimental. Today, Phantasmagoria 2 remains an interesting DOS-era horror title because it shows how far FMV adventure games were willing to push storytelling, atmosphere, and weirdness during that period. DOS
