Cheese Cat-Astrophe Starring Speedy Gonzales is a colourful 1995 platform game for the Sega Master System in which players control the famously fast Looney Tunes mouse on a mission to defeat Sylvester, rescue his girlfriend Carmel and recover the stolen cheese supply. Speedy must race, jump and explore through four cartoon-themed worlds, rescuing captured mice, collecting cheese and useful items, avoiding traps and defeating enemies by jumping on them or throwing collectible sombreros. With its lively character animations, bright graphics, hidden areas and fast-paced platforming, Cheese Cat-Astrophe successfully captures the playful humour and energetic style of the classic Speedy Gonzales cartoons.
