Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Duel Academy is a 2006 Game Boy Advance card-battling game based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime series, placing players in the role of a new student at Duel Academy alongside familiar characters such as Jaden Yuki, Chazz Princeton, Alexis Rhodes, and Syrus Truesdale. Players attend classes, take exams, improve their student ranking, build custom decks, and challenge other students to duels using the familiar Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game rules. As progress is made, more cards, opponents, and events become available, giving players plenty of opportunities to experiment with different deck strategies and strengthen their collection. With its combination of school-life progression and traditional Yu-Gi-Oh! dueling, GX: Duel Academy is a fun handheld entry for fans of the anime and one of the more memorable Yu-Gi-Oh! games on the GBA.
